Our Junior National Show was a blast without a doubt! Congratulations to all of the American Junior Red Brangus Association members that participated in the National Junior Show.

Thanks to everyone who donated their time or money to our organization, it was very appreciated!

Our National Junior Show was held on July 26-30, Red Brangus Junior members loaded up their trailers and showed off their skills in Aggieland!

The 2017 Junior Show was themed “A Grand Chute-Out”, and it most definitely was “Grand”!! Our Juniors participated in contests that showed their creativity, brain power and overall skills.

This year our Board Members decided to add another contest which was the Cooking Contest. The Cooking Contest allowed each participant to bring out their inner chef, our dishes varied from Beef tips to Carne Guisada. The contest was a huge hit, we had several participants in each age division!

During the show, the Juniors walked the ring with some very high-quality cattle, once again proving all the great attributes of our cattle and their breeders. As our 2017 Junior Show ended, Juniors got all dressed up for a very nice banquet filled with many prizes and scholarships for some top notch recipients!

This year’s Junior Nationals was a great success with a lot of memories of food, friends, and great cattle.

The American Red Brangus Foundation awarded $9,500 to outstanding juniors at the 2017 National Junior Show.

The Foundation Board awarded a total of $3,000 in Showmanship scholarships to the top three exhibitors in each three age divisions. The juniors have the opportunity to earn scholarships throughout their young career. This contest is one that allows each exhibitor and their calf to go out and display the hard work that has taken place over several months at home and at other shows. The exhibitors and their calves go before a judge and get placed based on their showmanship skills

Congratulations to Continuing Education Scholarship recipient Dylan Bostick. Dylan was awarded a $500 scholarship to pursue his degree at Texas A&M. Dylan has raised and shown outstanding Red Brangus cattle.

The America Red Brangus Foundation is proud to have contributed a total of $5,550 toward Dylan’s educational goals.

Congratulations to all the exhibitors of the 2017 National Show. The ARBA Foundation is committed in continuing to support the activities of the ARBA Juniors.
